What we actually do

Journalism. We give clubs a national platform for their local success stories. Match reports, player profiles and features on the achievements that don't make mainstream sports media, alongside educational content on nutrition, sports science and disability football.

Photography. Our photographers cover grassroots teams, players and events to a professional standard. Those images keep players in the game, encourage others to take it up, and give clubs and families a record of moments that would otherwise go undocumented.

The YFS Media Team. Our volunteer programme, and the heart of YFS. Hands-on experience for aspiring journalists, photographers and content creators. Some go on to careers in sports media. Plenty volunteer simply to give something back.

Tournaments and events. A directory of youth football tournaments across Scotland and beyond, built to make it easy for teams to find one that fits their age group, level and location.

Awards. Player of the Week, Goal of the Week, Save of the Week and Coach of the Month. Recognition for the players, keepers and coaches who earn it, and one of the most popular things we do.
